Properties: light yellow powder, non-poisonous. Specific gravity: 1.34-1.40, melting point: 80°Cmin., easily soluble in dichloroethane, acetone, benzene, toluene, chloroform ethyl acetate, slightly soluble in ether, gasoline, hardly soluble in cold alcohol, insoluble in water, dilute acid, alkali solution. It maybe decomposed while being heated, so it should be stored at low temperature. If storage time is longer(e.g. more than 6 months), scorching tendency may be increased.
